When Ariel Kaye launched Parachute back in 2014, she was hyper-focused on bedding. The self-proclaimed design enthusiast was on a mission to fill a hole in the market with direct-to-consumer linens that were equal parts high quality and affordable. Since then, Parachute’s best-selling waffled towels, super-soft duvet covers, and linen sheets have become some of our favorite products on the market. And luckily for fellow fans of the ultra-sustainable brand, Parachute isn’t stopping at bedding, bath essentials, and decorative accessories.
Today, Parachute launched a 15-piece collection of furniture. That’s right; the eco-conscious brand that started in the bedroom is moving into the living room with sofas, coffee tables, and Stilnovo-inspired table lamps. So whether you’re outfitting a brand new space from scratch or adding final touches on a nearly finished one, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for within Parachute’s California-inspired take on Danish design.
We’re talking oak coffee tables with rounded legs, low-profile sofas, and mushroom-style shaded floor lamps. Though some of the pieces—especially the seating, which can be customized in a variety of soft-to-the-touch fabrics—are made to order, the rest are in stock and ready to ship.
More From House Beautiful

We’re coveting the Loop coffee table because it’s so simple yet eye-catching with its tall open shelf. Finally, we have a stylish place to stack our growing collection of coffee table books! Another piece we’ve got our eye on? The Century table lamp, Parachute’s modern take on Stilnovo’s 1950 version. Parachute’s, however, boasts a sleek Carrara marble base and a powder-coated steel shade, making it a bit more durable than the Italian maker’s.
Now that Parachute has conquered the bedroom, bath, and living space, where will the brand head next? Whichever room it takes on, we’ll be first in line to snag a few of our favorite pieces. As for the living room furniture, we won’t be surprised if the midcentury modern-inspired collection sells out soon, so now’s your chance to infuse your space with a touch of one of design’s most beloved eras—with a contemporary twist, of course.
